"A shot in the arm for Glasgow shipyards" Nicol Stephen - see press release (Word, 1.10Mb)
During a visit to BAE Systems Naval Ships, Nicol Stephen, Deputy First Minister and Minister for Enterprise and Lifelong Learning, announced that the company has been offered a £4.1 million RSA grant towards an £18.5 million investment programme to modernise its Scotstoun and Govan yards. The project is expected to create some 400 jobs and safeguard a further 200.
