Dundee-based Texol offers a broad range of engineering and manufacturing services including metal fabrication, electronics, assembly and design. Recently the company commenced production of its own self-designed products including an insect catching device – the Midgeater, which is aimed at the tourism industry.
We offered the company RSA of £250k in February 2005 towards the capital costs in purchasing equipment aimed at expanding its capacity and capability to manufacture its own range of products. Texol plans to create 20 new jobs and safeguard a further 20 as a result of the investment.
