Boston Networks designs and delivers leading edge, innovative wired and wireless networking systems for data, voice and video delivery. It has recently entered the market for intelligent home networks. Via the internet, these control and distribute services throughout the home such as security, cable and satellite TV, video, audio and lighting control.
In September 2004, the company was offered RSA towards the costs of establishing its new facility in Paisley. In addition, its project involves an investment in additional equipment to further its presence in the intelligent home network market and the rapidly expanding network CCTV market. To date 10 new jobs have been created and 5 safeguarded. On completion of the project, the company will have received RSA of £175,000.
