Scottish Biomedical Ltd
Scottish Biomedical Ltd operates as a pre-clinical discovery services company focussing on early stage drug research. In general, outsourced pre-clinical trial business has been an increasing feature of the industry over the last 20 years and this trend is expected to continue to grow.
As a result, in July 2005 we offered RSA of £200,000 towards a project to expand the company's drug research capability at its facility in the West of Scotland Science Park. Grant was delivered under Aid for Job Creation and it is expected that the project will create 18 new jobs at the site.
