Although the application form is available to download below, we strongly suggest that before you complete it, you familiarise yourself with the criteria of the scheme.

We would also encourage you to contact us first as an early discussion of the project may save time or unnecessary work. We are happy to work on applications sent by email. However, we will still need to receive a signed hard copy of the application form and the turnaround 'clock' will only start at this time.

RSA is working in partnership with the Scottish Energy Efficiency Unit (SEEU) to promote sustainable development. All RSA applicants can apply for a free Energy Efficiency Audit. Those awarded grants over £1m will be required to engage with the SEEU with a view to exploring the scope for improved energy efficiency and waste management.

We aim to encourage businesses to engage with our Local Enterprise Company (LEC) partners to discuss the business' workforce development requirements. This engagement with the LEC will form part of RSA's formal grant offer.

RSA is available on the same basis to firms whether they are locally-based or foreign-owned. Overseas-owned firms are more generally handled by Scottish Development International - Inward Operations on behalf of the Scottish Government.
