Alliance Trust plc is a global investment management and financial services group, providing a range of banking, investment dealing, pensions and asset management services, typically to high net worth private individuals. Headquartered in Dundee, the company also has offices in Hong Kong and London.
We offered RSA of £1.95m in December 2006 in respect of a £15m project. Our assistance helped secure the project for Scotland in the face of competing locations in Ireland and the investment should help the company develop and expand its financial services capability both in the UK and the Far East. It is anticipated that 160 new jobs will be created by the project.
