Rohr Aero Services Ltd
Rohr Aero Services Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Goodrich Corporation of the USA. It is involved in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of nacelles and thrust reversers for various airline and aircraft manufacturers.
We made an offer of £2.1m to the company to help persuade it carry out a major expansion project at its Prestwick facility involving the creation and safeguarding of 140 jobs. In October 2006 we offered an additional £1.8m towards a further expansion to create an additional 285 jobs which is expected to increase the site employee total to 500 by 2009.
