Regional Selective Assistance (RSA) is the main investment grant scheme for businesses in designated areas of Scotland (the 'assisted' areas). Assistance to Small & Medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in certain areas is delivered under the EC block exemption regulation for regional aid and SMEs.
Business of all sizes can apply, whether they are Scottish-owned or owned or headquartered outside Scotland. If your business is located within an assisted area, you could qualify for funding towards an investment project which will create or safeguard jobs in the business.
Application forms are available to download. However, before doing so, we would suggest that you should familiarise yourself with the criteria of the scheme before submitting an Initial Enquiry Form. There is also a simple guide to the RSA appraisal process from initial enquiry to offer letter available on this website.
