Regional Selective Assistance (RSA) is the main investment grant scheme for businesses in designated areas of Scotland (the 'assisted' areas).
If your business is located within a Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 area, you could qualify for funding towards an investment project which will create or safeguard jobs. Business can apply, whether they are Scottish-owned or owned or headquartered outside Scotland
Powers to offer RSA in Tier 1 and Tier 2 areas are under Section 8 of the Enterprise and New Towns (Scotland) Act 1990 and Article 13 of the EC General Block Exemption Regulation (EC) No 800/2008.
Powers to offer RSA to Small and Medium sized Enterprises are under Section 8 of the of the Enterprise and New Towns (Scotland) Act 1990 and Article 15 of the EC General Block Exemption Regulation (EC) No 800/2008. SME assistance is available in Tier 2 and Tier 3 areas.

Application forms are available to download. However, before doing so, we would suggest that you should familiarise yourself with the criteria of the scheme before submitting an Initial Enquiry Form.
