Jobs Boost for Scots Economy
Jim Mather, Enterprise Minister, during a visit to ScoMac Catering Equipment Ltd, Livingston, announced the publication of the latest
RSA quarterly report (PDF, 69Kb) detailing RSA accepted offers during the 3 months between April and June 2009. During this period, 24 businesses accepted offer of RSA totalling over £19m for projects plan to create and safeguard over 1,250 jobs.

RSA Continues to Support Recovery
Finance Secretary, John Swinney, during a visit to NPI Solutions, Irvine announced the publication of the
RSA Annual Summary 2008/09 (PDF, 55KB). The summary showed that 88 businesses in Scotland accepted RSA offers totalling over £52 million in the last financial year.

RSA quarterly report (PDF, 65Kb) detailing RSA accepted offers during the 3 months between January and March 2009. During this period, 20 businesses accepted offer of RSA totalling over £14m for projects plan to create and safeguard over 800 jobs.

Members reappointed to Scottish Industrial Development Advisory Board
The Minister for Enterprise, Energy and Tourism, Jim Mather, announced the extension of appointment and the reappointment of two members of the Scottish Industrial Development Advisory Board (SIDAB).

Increased Support for Small and Medium-sized Businesses
Enterprise Minister, Jim Mather today announced that the Scottish Government has extended coverage of Tier 3 RSA type assistance to the whole of Scotland (outwith Tier 1 and Tier 2 areas).

Government Support for Glasgow Jobs Expansion
Finance Secretary John Swinney today welcomed the creation of 100 new jobs at Glasgow-based BiP Solutions. On a visit to the company's new pemises at Pacific Quay, Mr Swinney announceded that an £800,000 RSA grant would help the company with its expansion.
