In the course of appraising SMART: SCOTLAND grant applications, technical advice is sometimes sought from other Government Departments and a range of outside organisations.

The Scottish Government has established confidentiality agreements with the external organisations listed, which ensure that all material sent to them relating to grant applications is handled in the strictest confidence.
