Business Plan

Many companies have an existing Business Plan as part of their ongoing strategy. SMART: SCOTLAND would be pleased to accept these plans as part of the application submission, we do not expect you to create a new Business Plan. However, it should include an explanation of how the project fits in with your plans and how you expect the project to affect your business :

• How do you expect the project to affect your current sales, profit and employment levels?
• When do you expect to see the benefits from the project, in terms of sales and profits?

For those companies who do not currently have their own Business Plan, SMART: SCOTLAND does not provide a Business Plan template for you to follow; however, there is a Business Plan Guide that you can download.
